Aside from obvious great inclusions (anything by the Beatles, Rolling Stones, etc.), it's filled with some incredible laughs. Highlights:

99. Dirty Dancing Soundtrack LOL
103. Titanic soundtrack LOL
162. Avril Lavigne LOL
172. Shakira LOL

The rankings make this list even more hilarious. David Bowie doesn't even get into the top 100. Neither does OK Computer. Look at that list above. They are outranked by LINKIN PARK. FIDDY. AND CREED.

They atleast included Odelay, but 1000 Odelays couldn't save this from being just laughably bad. Not that it's exactly a shocking revelation that music sales corps really don't have a clue about what makes a great album.
